Terrific Toadstools Using All 10 In Colors!

Here are 5 cards using every single one of Stampin’ Up!’s In Colors. If you aren’t familiar with what I mean by “In Colors”, let me tell you about them. Stampin’ Up! has four main color families: Regals, Brights, Subtles, and Neutrals. These are core colors that are pretty consistent year over year. Roughly every five years, the company will do a color refresh and add new colors to the existing color families. However, to keep things exciting, every year there is an introduction of five new In Colors. Those five colors are “In” for 2 full years. So at any given time, there are 10 In Colors.

In this post, I will share five cards using In Color combinations of the 2024-2026 In Colors paired with the 2025-2027 In Colors. For reference, here’s a list of the current In Colors:

2024-2026 In Colors:

Peach Pie

Petunia Pop

Pretty in Pink

Summer Splash

Shy Shamrock

2025-2027 In Colors:

Cloud Cover

Darling Duckling

Secret Sea

Strawberry Slush

Timid Tiger

Card Recipe:

For all of the following cards, I used the same layout. Before we go over the card color combinations, here are the details and measurements for this card layout.

-Cut your card base at 4.25”x11”, then score at 5.5”

-Use the largest Perennial Postage Dies for your next layer

-Use the In Color Designer Series paper for your next layer and cut it at 3.5”x4.75”

-Use the same color cardstock as your card base and cut a small strip at 1.5”x3.5”

-Use a piece of Whisper White and the 3rd largest Spotlight on Nature Die to cut your circle

-Stamp your sentiment using the Blooming Phrases Stamp Set

-Stamp and punch your toadstool using the Terrific Toadstools Bundle

Color Combinations:

Summer Splash + Secret Sea

For this card, I used Summer Splash paired with Secret Sea. This is one of my favorite combinations from the In Color collection. This works for a masculine or feminine birthday card.

Here is what the inside of each card looks like. I used the Blooming Phrases stamp set for my sentiment and the coordinating DSP from the front of the card for an accent at the bottom.

Peach Pie + Timid Tiger

For this bright card, I paired Peach Pie and Timid Tiger together. This is a fresh color combo that could also work for a man or woman’s birthday.

Pretty in Pink + Strawberry Slush

I LOVE girly color combinations, and that’s what we have for this card. I paired Pretty in Pink and Strawberry Slush for this card and think it’s an adorable combination that I will use in other designs!

Shy Shamrock + Darling Duckling

For this card, I paired Shy Shamrock and Darling Duckling together. This makes for a more masculine card. I also think this works well for a kid’s card.

Petunia Pop + Cloud Cover

I saved the best for last! This is my personal favorite color combination from the In Colors. I paired Petunia Pop and Cloud Cover for this feminine birthday card.
